I don't think you can do Yahoo if you have a free email account with them.    For gmail, this might help you:

k I bought the yahoo plus account and it worked for about five minutes and now it just says that I have 3+ messages. idk I think it might have something to do with the new yahoo layout. I'm going to try to switch back and see what happens.

Aside from the first 30 mins after setting my gmail account up, it's been telling me I have more 3 or more mails - highly frustrating, but at least I haven't been getting the repeating alert (much).

As for setting up your gmail, try this (if you haven't already got it!):

Go to gmail, then to "Settings" -> "Forwarding and POP"

In the second half, enable POP Download (for whichever setting - I chose 'mail that arrives from now on'). Press 'Save Changes' and then reload your setting page to make sure it now says "Status: POP is enabled".

Then on my.nabaztag.com under the Email Alert service, use the following information:
Incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com
Protocol: SSL
Account Name: <your_login>@gmail.com
Password: <your_password>

..then chose the options you want!
