Hey, Davor, I'm willing to create it and see what level of participation it has. I know there are Airport Extreme issues that have been discussed that could go there.
There....it's done.
Yea but they are other routers that work with mac too. Netgear works well. Thanks mate.
Hey Davor,
The only Mac-specific issue I can think of is platform-specific applications that people build. I'm currently working on a web-based tool to control the bunnies. It's a slow develoopment cycle because I have a bunch of other tasks in the queue that take priority.
I think there was a setup problem where you have to enter the IP address of the violet servers in order to get your bunny to connect... but that's rather well documented.
Im using a dlink wireless router at home with 2 macs and ps2 connected by cable, I borrowed a laptop to set my tagtag up. I got the wireless routers for friends who visit and have laptops, I will get one eventually, when Im not buying rabbits.
Anyone tried Nabaztag running on airport extreme base station router?
I think this topic now should be moved to "Nabaztag on the Mac" sub-forum?
I have tried to connect to an Airport Extreme without success and I can't reconnect to my old router following this!
Have you reset Airport Extreme and played with the settings in Airport Admin Utility?
What settings do you have in mind?
Thanks
I have just received an e-mail from Yasmine from Violet and she told me that Nabaztag works with Airport Extreme Base Station and that most of the nabaztag /tag services are up and running and a few that are not will be available until April 14th. Great news ![]()
I'm a MAC user but using a standard USR wireless router therefore there aren't any PC/MAC differences really
I just purchased an airport extreme and configured it on my home network which has both MAC and PC's on the network. It works fine with everything but my bunny which doesn't connect at all to the network-simply solid orange lights displayed. I have fiddled with it but so far no success. When I reconnect my Netgear wireless router everything including bunny works just fine. Is anyone else having similar issues and has anyone come up with a way to make the new airport extreme work with the bunny. Thanks, Peter
I saw something about the IP address and Subnet of the AE router. You might want to double-check those and manually set them in the advanced configurations on the bunny (blue mode)
Hey thanks! I'll take a look at that.
Peter
Hello
I had the same problem.
I found here the answer: http://help.nabaztag.com/fiche.php?lang

The password is not the one you are used to it, but the one generated by apple (see here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106864)
Tag/tag + Mac crew signing in! ![]()
I want to thank everyone who has provided help on getting my tag/tag to work with the new airport extreme. I have configured it exactly as outlined in all the instructions, including the apple password and the vilot platform number. I am still not able to get the tag/tag to work. I get all orange lights with the light on the left side blinking consistently. None of the other lights blink. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks,
Peter
