Topic: Second hand rabbit and no customer support

I have written to Customer Support about 6 time requesting that me second hand Rabbit be reset and added to my account. I haven't heard a thing from them.

Has anyone else tried this? Will they reset my rabbit?

Thanks

Tony

Re: Second hand rabbit and no customer support

I need to add a 'me too' here - though only 1 email so far smile anyone got a 'real persons' email address so I can kick start the process please !

Re: Second hand rabbit and no customer support

Same here, one month waiting for a simple answer from the company.
The rabbit is unusable for me. Shame on them.
By the way, if the owner previous Heino Preuß Preuß reads this, please help !

You should contact mindscape.

Good luck

Re: Second hand rabbit and no customer support

I contacted Mindscape today by phone, and got a very helpful response, in theory.
Support said, yes, there had been poor service in recent months, but now they've
employed a new engineer *dedicated* to Nabaztag support, so by emailing to:
   support@violet.net
and describing the problem that I need to register a 2nd hand unit, it will be reset.
I emailed them this (Friday) afternoon, and I will report when I get succesful reply.

Re: Second hand rabbit and no customer support

If you can contact the previous owner, they should be able to remove it from their account themselves.

Re: Second hand rabbit and no customer support

I just bought another secondhand rabbit to replace the first one.
I used the customer support form on the violet website and they released in under 24 hours.
Hoping my second Nabaztag is going to stick around.

Re: Second hand rabbit and no customer support

An update from me on this.

1) I never got a reply from Mindscape, despite the encouraging reply to the phone call.
(See above, they said they employed a new engineer, who should reply to emails.)
I sent repeated messages, never any reply, problem not solved. Very disappointed.

2) I bought the rabbit from an Ebay shop, who thought Violet would reset it for me.
They had no more success, so I was about to send it back to them for a refund, but...

3) By extensive Googling, and armed only with the name of the original owner, based
on the login refusal at Nabaztag.com, I found a journalist who had written about
the Nabaztag, and had the same name. I found him on Facebook, and contacted
him, and amazingly, he remembered his login (from YEARS ago) and problem fixed.

4) The rabbit became the first of a small of several Nabaztags in our extended family.

Cheers,
Richard.
