Topic: Email Alert Application Throws Invalid Parameter error

I have been trying to set up the email alert app to point to my company's exchange server.  But no matter what input I provide, I always receive the Invalid Parameter error message.  I am not sure which parameter is invalid as the values seem correct and complete to me.  Any ideas?

Does your company exchange server allow IMAP ? What do you type in the server field ?

Ok, I looked into this further and our firewall blocks outside requests to the IMAP mail server. Darn.

Repurposing this thread. smile

When I try to set up e-mail alert with my mail server, imap.secureserver.net, I get the parameter invalid error.  Could it be that Go Daddy (my ISP) uses my email address as my user name (as do others) so the user name has an "@" in it.

Thanks,
