Topic: What PC programs are there for my nabaztag/tag?

Hi, Im new so I've missed a lot of the development stuff - could someone please tell me what pc programs there are out there for my nabaztag/tag? I've downloaded the 'Nabaztag Flash Controller' and it seems to be pretty good, apart from the fact that when I close it it still seems to be connected to my rabbit, how do I get around this? And please let me know what else is out there! cheers

NabAIR is a handy Adobe AIR application built in Flex.

Bunny Messenger is another AIR application for Nabaztag.

And if you have an iphone... there are a couple nice apps for Nabaztags.

iRabbit 3.0 is my personal favorite:

Coniglio is also good:

cheers for that spacebunny, they all do pretty much the same thing, which one would u recommend? ^^
also i havent used the flash controller since my last post but my nabaztag's nose is still flashing pink which im guessing means its still connected, how do i disconnect it? >.<

Re: What PC programs are there for my nabaztag/tag?

I like NabAIR for the desktop and iRabbit for the iphone.  I am also hoping to write my own app as time permits smile

The flashing nose (purplish) means that you have messages waiting.  I was also unsure about this when I first got my Nabaztag.  So for example, when you receive a message, the rabbit will speak or play the content.  But imagine that you weren't home.  You would want to retrieve the messages upon your return and the flashing nose is the indicator that you have messages.  If you press the bunny's head button, it will replay the queued messages -- and then it should stop flashing.

Re: What PC programs are there for my nabaztag/tag?

Thanks for the info spacebunny! ^^ It's weird that all these programs have the same features, would be good if they could make the nabaztag/tag do things that arn't available as official apps - it's for this reason that I don't think it's worth downloading the enviroment for nabair if it has the same features as the flash one I use atm - I hope someone delvops a more unique intetractive program >.<

We are working on it here in my office, as time permits smile  Do you have any cool ideas?  Would love to hear them.

Re: What PC programs are there for my nabaztag/tag?

ty for being so helpful btw spacebunny ^^ just a few simple apps that would be easy to impliment such as I saw somewhere on the web a fortune cookie app, stuff like that would be cool - maybe a few apps to make nabaztag more pet/assistant-like?

I think several folks have written apps to announce successful software builds at their companies.  And search for php scripts for using Yahoo RSS feeds to pull in your local weather and I think traffic if your in the U.S.

If you're up for some minor programming (customizing a script for your specifics), I've got python scripts for customized local weather pulling from Yahoo weather's RSS feeds, customized route-specific traffic reports, from traffic.com's rss feeds (only in U.S.), and an application for reading the events for the day on your Google calendar.  All can be freely downloaded and used, and are at www.mcgurrin.com/nabaztag

And Nabaztone for the iPhone. I have release a basic app to send text to speech and turn the rabit on/off for the iphone. There is a basic translation in French, German and Dutch.
