This is the Nabaztag configuration page, there is where you need to supply your wireless network's connection details such as :

SSID : Network Name
WEP : Yes or No
WEP KEY : Encryption Key
Authentication : Shared or Open

NOTE : Most people who have problems are more than likely caused by the Authentication field, this must be set to the right type otherwise your rabbit will not be able to connect to the access point. So check this!!

Once you have setup your rabbit, click Update And Start, this will save the settings and reset the rabbit.

LED Status
Tummy Left Orange - Connecting To Access Point
Tummy Left Green - Connected To Access Point

Tummy Middle Orange - Requesting IP Address
Tummy Middle Green - Assigned An IP Address By DHCP (Internal Access Point Protocol)

Tummy Right Orange - Connecting To Nabaztag Server
Tummy Right Green - Connected To Nabaztag Server

Re: Tutorial : New Rabbit

Could you confirm the settings that the router needs to be broadcasting on please?

Re: Tutorial : New Rabbit

Super, thanks for the excellent run through, and details. I'll have a fidget with my bunny later.

Re: Tutorial : New Rabbit

With the bunny talking to the website correctly, you will need to get your burrow nice and cosy, otherwise your bunny will not do much.

If the My burrow page is saying that your bunny is not online, you may need to log out of it, close your internet browser, and then log in again.

The first place to go is to the preferences screen - http://my.nabaztag.com/vl/action/myTerr … references
The important setting here is the Time zone. It is needed by nearly all the services. It is also recommended that you select the Clock preferences to 24 hour. Don't forget to press the modify button when you are finished wink

Next, go to the profile page - http://my.nabaztag.com/vl/action/myTerr … let=Profil
Set the I speak setting to your language (this is needed for things like radio so that it can fetch a station in the right language for you). The other important thing to set is the Country. Click the modify button to set those options.

When the profile page reloads scroll down to the bottom of the page to set the Sleep time. This is when your bunny needs to go to bed and shuts him/her up and turns off his heart beat light. Click the modify button.

Now he/she is all ready and you can choose what services to subscribe to. Go to the Nablife page - http://my.nabaztag.com/vl/action/myNablife.do#. This is the list of services. When you see one you like, press the tiny subscribe text link, which is under the service's title. This will bring up a page to configure the service. Configure the service and then click the button at the bottom of the page and the service will be added to your My services box's list on the left hand side of the screen.

And hopefully that will get you started smile

Note: the Nabaztag tag will also support WPA encryption in addition to WEP, but it does NOT support WPA2!  You'll get orange lights and no connection if your network is set to WPA2.  The old original Nabaztag only supported WEP.
