Topic: mp3 streams for nabaztag

I have tried a number of pls and m3u streams, but none of them seem to work on the nabaztag via the API or using the new Play an Internet Radio app.  Does anyone have recommended streams which work well?  I'm also wondering if the streams on http://www.di.fm should work or not?

Re: mp3 streams for nabaztag

I guess we should be more specific in the instructions for the MP3 streaming via the API and in the 'Play a radio' app.
When using both you will have to tell the direct URL to the MP3 feed. This means when you have a link to a m3u or a pls file, open it in a notepad to get this direct feed.

Example : On the website you mention (http://www.di.fm/) there is a radio named 'Space music'. When you click on the link to get the MP3 stream, you are prompted to download a .pls file.
Save the file somewhere and then open it in a text editor.
You'll see something like :
[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=2
File1=http://94.232.114.240:6304
Title1=Space Music - Digitally Imported Radio
Length1=-1
File2=http://194.140.112.114:8000
Title2=Space Music - Digitally Imported Radio
Length2=-1
Version=2

So the URL of the feed to use via the API or in the 'Play a radio' app would be http://94.232.114.240:6304

I hope this makes things a bit clearer. We will change the instructions on the website not to mislead people.

Re: mp3 streams for nabaztag

Hmmmm.... it doesn't work for me.... I've tried with several podcast, even with the one in the exemple you gave there.... My rabbit blinks... and nothing plays...

It looks like, one more time, what should work doesn't....

Re: mp3 streams for nabaztag

btw, i tried using the API... here is what my httprequest looks like :
http://api.nabaztag.com/vl/FR/api_strea … 4.240:6304

with correct sn and token.

What's funny with black boxes (like this one) is that when it's not working, you can trash it....

I do work as a project manager for internet projects, in Paris. If I deliver an unfinished project to customers, I'm not getting payed. Here I have payed for something I can't use as I want. You should teach me how you did that...

Cheers,
Raph

Re: mp3 streams for nabaztag

Hello,

This doesn't seem to work for me either.... I tried to add a dutch radio station called 3FM on my nano with the "Play an Internet Radio" app.... I filled in name and adress of the station, in this case: http://145.58.33.95:8104

And checked "When I show my Object" ... but then, when I click "Add these settings" nothing happens....

Rabbit stays quiet.... smile Anyone in for some help here?

Eik, for the address of the station, try using http://145.58.33.95:8104/listen.pls - that should work smile

Re: mp3 streams for nabaztag

The Play Internet Radio app does not work.

I'm trying to attach it to a ztamp. I enter the details and hit "Add These Settings". Nothing happens. The button does nothing.
