I guess we should be more specific in the instructions for the MP3 streaming via the API and in the 'Play a radio' app.
When using both you will have to tell the direct URL to the MP3 feed. This means when you have a link to a m3u or a pls file, open it in a notepad to get this direct feed.
Example : On the website you mention (http://www.di.fm/) there is a radio named 'Space music'. When you click on the link to get the MP3 stream, you are prompted to download a .pls file.
Save the file somewhere and then open it in a text editor.
You'll see something like :
[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=2
File1=http://94.232.114.240:6304
Title1=Space Music - Digitally Imported Radio
Length1=-1
File2=http://194.140.112.114:8000
Title2=Space Music - Digitally Imported Radio
Length2=-1
Version=2
So the URL of the feed to use via the API or in the 'Play a radio' app would be http://94.232.114.240:6304
I hope this makes things a bit clearer. We will change the instructions on the website not to mislead people.
