Topic: The only wireless device that gets no connection

Probably this way works better than the support, who couldn`t give an answer the weekend.

I tried to connect the NABZTAG/tag with a macbook (OSX 10.5.2.) and with a Firefox (2.0.0.14). The router is not a mac one.

I have already a couple of wireless devices like a chumby, an ip-radio, a wireless printer. I have no problems in connececting different notebooks or pcs to the network. so I think it should be no problem in the network.

The security ist done by a WPA-Key which I typed (and controlled sevral times) in the registration page. The key contains letters and numbers and no things like  ?$ or ....  The are no further security mesures like mac-adresse or anything else in my network.

Neverthelesse I always - tried it four times - can start with the set-up-process (Blue light....). After trying to connect and trying to upgrade the firmware (even the serial numbers ends with an 0) I just have a NABAZTAG
with four orange lights. The left one is always blinking and I can't connect to my network.

Please tell me: Where is the mistake? I saw another post who thinks that a changement in the WPA-key to an ecryption with a capital letter should work. But this looks like a lot of work if I would have to change the key for every device in my network.

Re: The only wireless device that gets no connection

I am use a 24-character WPA key using characters a-zA-Z0-9, so this is not an issue (I'm using WPA-PSK)

The light codes are described here: http://help.nabaztag.com/fiche.php?lang … p;fiche=22

All four orange would imply that your SSID is wrong.
You might also try to change the channel your Access point is using.

Re: The only wireless device that gets no connection

I  am having the same trouble, cannot access the net I am Very Frustrated!
Surely there is a simpler way, or is it because I am using Vista Ultimate ?

Re: The only wireless device that gets no connection

as I cannot access the net to activate my NABAZTAG/TAG. How do I find out if it is working properly? Iam not getting anywhere after many attempts, need some help,
  Please, Thank You.

Re: The only wireless device that gets no connection

I had trouble using WPA with AES.  Switching to TKIP instead solved my problem.
