Topic: Want to control your rabbit by remote?

I'm quite new to coding with the API, but I have an idea to those of us who want our rabbit to sleep and wake up at the time we want, and not the default setting. At the API-page, we learn that we can send our rabbits to sleep by the URL/command:

tttt://api.nabaztag.ttt/vl/FR/api.jsp?sn=PASTESERIALNUMBERHERE&token=PASTETOKENHERE&action=13
(the first tttt=http and .ttt=.com - this forum didn't show it as it were with the real http and .com)

By pasting your serial number and token in this, the action=13 will make your rabbit go to sleep. For waking it up, the URL is the same, but the action is 14 (action=14).

To easily wake up and put your rabbit to sleep from the computer, you can make those URL into your favorites, and have them as buttons in your browser.

But, if you want full control even if you are not at your computer (let's say your rabbit wakes up in the middle of the night - mine has, and woke me!) you can type in those URLS on your mobile phone (I don't know if it works with just wap - but most phones of today handle regular URLs). The mobile phone will then act as a kind of remote control. Other API functions will also work I guess.

Yes, it's easy to set up Bookmarks on your mobile device - I use my iPhone - that does just this. And you could set-up other shortcuts that send voice messages to your or your friend's rabbit too! :-)

Unfortunately, as you have found, the Violet API server has been a little unpredictable at the moment. So sometimes when you call the API (by calling that URL) nothing happens.
