The API appears to request a key as well as a token and serial number.
Where do I get the key from ? The API page only show me a token and serial number

I don't know for sure what the role of the key. This key suppose to be given by Violet for developers to use their API, that is, grant you the access to the API.
Right now I still don't know how to register for this key. But I think it's not mandatory to register your own key. I use the default key in the API example link and it works fine. Try it !!
