Topic: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

Looks like you can't clear the 'Asleep' settings once they're set. I assume I could, instead, set them to a very very short value?

My bunny seems to be sleeping now, even though it's not supposed to happen to much later, and I was trying to remove the values.

Roy

P.S. Followup - It actually will allow you to clear the values, but then a bogus popup window informs you you're not allowed to leave them blank.

Re: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

I cleared the boxes, clicked Validate and as you said the popup shows, but upon refreshing the page the boxes are still empty! yikes

EDIT : i even closed Firefox and reopened Nabatag and they are still empty, my rabbit is due to sleep @ 11pm (about 20 minutes from now) so I will tell you then if he goes to sleep or not

Re: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

I would recommend that Violet offer the sleep settings as a "free service", since that's basically what it is. I think people will forget to look for this, under their account configuration, as other people already have.

Re: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

Its now 11:05 and Tipzy is still awake, I beieve you can clear the sleep pattern and have a 24hr bunny (should you want that hmm)

Im going to put her to sleep @ 11:10 though, as her ears are hurting her....

EDIT : one thing i just noticed while inputting the times, is that a "9" automatically changes to "09" once focus moves to another box. Im guessing this does not happen if your preferences page is set to 12hr?

Nope, shoves the leading '0' in there in both modes (which isn't the end of the world).

Funny thing about this sleep mode. I would like it designed to allow you to just block audio/visual events, but still have some options on some ambient lights and such. I just want to keep it from being disruptive, in the evening, not look like someone unplugged it!

Re: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

My mom puts her volume switch to mute every night before going to bed, and then flicks it back before having breakfast the next day. So if I hadnt set her to sleep she should do tai chi all night but without any sound

Re: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

Ug, this am/pm thing. If you set the am/pm radio button, then hit the 'Modify' button, it resets those buttons (to blank).

So, yes, one can assume the 12 hour, am/pm isn't going to work, at this point.

Plus, it looks like you can clear the values, with the error, by hitting the "Deactivate" button (deactivate what? This option or my Nabaztag?!). But, I probably don't have to tell you the numerous problems with this dialog box...

"delete this service' - lol 'nuff said

Re: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

Yep. Which lends credibility to the fact that this really belongs as a service, and for all intents and purposes it is.

And, of course, the dialog should be "Are you sure you want to disable Asleep? or something.

And don't get me started on "Annuler". We all know that's French slang for "American wimp".

Re: Can't clear Asleep! settings once you've set them

Ive been trying to delete Nabcasts that Ive sign up for!
