Hey everyone,

my bunny was working perfectly fine only 8 hours ago. I unplugged it, and plugged it back in about an hour ago. Now it's... well, dead It doesn't make a noise anymore when I plug it in while pressing the button on the top. There are random lights showing up when I plug it in while pressing the button. And I mean, random. They don't flash and they change everytime I unplugg it.

I'm totally at loss about what to do. It seems like I somehow broke it...but just by unplugging it? I did that before and nothing ever happened ._. Oh and I can't put it into blue only mode anymore either.

I recorded a video to show what it does: http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee28 … =bunny.mp4

Hey all. Got my nabaztag today

But, my Nabbytag came with a Red nano:ztag. I managed to get it working. Once. Now my rabbit does not recognise the mini rabbit any more any help? When I hold the nanotag up to Nabaztag's nose, nothing happens. What part of the nano ztag do I point at the Nabaztag's nose?

Thanks,
Newbie Oli

Hi!

I was wondering whether you can send voice messages through the mic. If so, is it only to another rabbit (or only to the married rabbit)? If not, what else is the belly button good for except for weather, radio, and air quality voice triggering? (I can't get market to work, and traffic doesn't seem to exist no matter what my rabbit claims).

thanls!

Hi, Im new so I've missed a lot of the development stuff - could someone please tell me what pc programs there are out there for my nabaztag/tag? I've downloaded the 'Nabaztag Flash Controller' and it seems to be pretty good, apart from the fact that when I close it it still seems to be connected to my rabbit, how do I get around this? And please let me know what else is out there! cheers

FYI, someone's developed a simple iPhone /iPod touch app. for sending txt to speech, moving the ears, waking up, and putting to sleep. It's a $0.99 app at the Apple app store (it was free originally). For more info, see http://www.satscape.co.uk/Satscape/My_Bunny.html

The slide controls on the ears were a bit hard for me to get the feel for, but it's worked quite well for me.

interesting lights display... but nothing else

Hi,

I hope somebody here can help me interpret my bunny's light display.

After the configuration he turns from all blue to all orange. Slowly the lights on his belly turn green. So far so good. However, his nose flashes orange-green, despite the firmware being a v.10 (I checked). After several flashes all lights go off, then the left light on his belly flashes blue once, followed by a blue light in the middle. Finally all lights glow red. After several repeats of this, he flashes red-orange for a while and then starts over from the beginning.
I've tried changing the Violet platform address from r.nabaztag.com/vl to 62.210.186.165/vl, as suggested by the support team. Changing the encryption from WPA to WEP didn't improve anything, neither did removing the encryption altogether. Interestingly enough, the my.violet site can detect when I unplug the bunny (awake vs. offline).
Am I overlooking something? Are the servers down?

Any help is appreciated.

Die bunny die

Attention rant ahead.... i need to vent.

I develop software for a living, i studied computer science, i was one of the first kids to have a modem, network, .... i tinker around with hardware and know how to setup WLAN.

But this Rabbit (tag/tag) is driving me crazy.

I just do not succeed in setting it up other than in a completely open network. Neither WEP nor WPA are working. Uppercase, Lowercase, alpha, alphanumeric passwords and network names, pre shared keys, you name it. I tried all and everything.

So i opened my network and changed the platform URL to IP and tadaaaaa. Connected. Go Rabbit go. Fire up the browser, add my Thing. Type in MAC Address and this stupid Webapplication -it refused to create an account first because apparantely some parameter was wrong but was very secret about what parameter was wrong - keeps telling me that my Rabbit is not online. WTF. So i write to the support guys and receive an automated reply. I leave for vacation and the Rabbit stays at home.
After one week i just repeat the steps but this time the - still - stupid Webapplication tells me that my session is invalid but refuses to log me out. So fire up another browser and repeat the steps and tada... my Rabbit is registered.

Playing around with the API, everything is fine. Bringing the Rabbit to the office (want to connect it to Hudson CI server). Rabbit refuses to rotate ears. Even after restart. Oh and the RFID thingy is not working either.

3 days after i finally managed to add the Rabbit to my account on my.violet the support contacts me and asks if i'm sure about the MAC. YES I AM. Besides the skills listed above i know how to READ and WRITE (at least in German). WTFWTF. Now also the company creating the Rabbit is driving me crazy.

This is the first and last product i bought from violet/mindscape. It was a great idea but poorly executed. No wonder the company went broke.
I think i'll RIP the bunny appart and use it as an expensive case for my Arduino and write my own server. Just need to find out how to play MP3 with it...
